We are giving away a free telescope!
What other astronomy club gives you the chance to win a free telescopes just for becoming a member? NONE!
We believe that everyone should have the chance to see the heavens like we see it. In order to enhance the experience we need to develop ways to increase our members' telescope ownership. Therefore, we are offering current and new members an additional perk for becoming or renewing your membership.
The Sirius Stargazers Club is using all membership fee's to buy new MEADE ETX-90AT's. Please see the Meade ETX-90AT on their website. As soon as we collect enough to cover the cost of the new telescope we'll have a "MEMBERS ONLY" drawing for the telescope. Each member will get telescope entries inserted in the drawing based on their membership application.
As all of our members know, the club president will continue using his own resources to maintain, upgrade & transport the 20" Obsession telescope used by members of the Sirius Stargazers Club and to help develop educational programs for the community. All membership fees will be used to purchase new telescopes for new and existing members.
