All of the pictures were taken using a Kodak DC4800, 3.1 Megapixel, Zoom Digital Camera.  No special attachments were used.  I simply put the camera up to a 42mm wide angle lens in the 20" telescope, focused the scope, zoomed in and out until the picture looked good on the camera screen and took the picture.    I used Microsoft Photodraw to reduce the image files.

These 2  pictures below were taken at our star party on Friday, September 5.  I simply put the digital camera up to the lens and snapped.  The picture of Mars was enlarged.  The image is actually a lot clearer when viewed.  The camera doesn't have enough pixels to give us good resolution when photographing Mars through the lens.

Mars at it's best

Thompson's Doggie, Bear.  He just got his new teeth and lips.  We don't know if he likes stargazing.  He hasn't learned to talk yet.

The club members wish to thank our Indian Buddy Garrett for letting us use his digital camera!   Remember Gilligan's Island?
